Can we use our own induction checklist?
Yes. Your list, in your order, set up once. Different lists for a nurse, a technician and a housekeeping hire, if that is how your hospital runs.
Does this make us accredited?
No. It keeps the staff records and training dates you would put in front of an assessor. The accreditation itself is between you and the assessing body, and we will not claim otherwise.
Can a visiting consultant be onboarded the same way?
Yes, with a shorter list. Registration, the details you keep on file, his timings, and a login that fits what a consultant actually needs.
What happens when somebody leaves?
Mark the exit and the access closes. That is the half of this that hospitals forget, and it is the half that matters most.
